Face to Face Practical Update Session
Work areas that involve manual tasks such as:
- Awkward or repetitive movements
- Heavier or frequent lifting or carrying
- Sustained holding or carrying
- Moving or assisting patients
Some example work areas include (not an exhaustive list):
- Allied Health workers and assistants that complete patient transfers
- Cleaners and ward assistants
- Kitchen workers
- Medical records workers
- Nurses and carers (clinical workers)
- Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapists (clinical workers)
- Radiographers
- Sterilisation workers
- Stores and warehouse workers
A certificate can also be printed after you have completed the self declaration or a Manual Tasks Local Facilitator has signed you off.
