Target audience: all nursing & midwifery staff; & general staff
The aim of the Blood Safe - Clinical Transfusion page is:
- to access the BloodSafe Learning Program
- to improve clinician awareness and knowledge of blood/product use
- to improve clinician awareness and knowledge of alternative therapy for blood/products
- to improve clinical decision making with regards to blood/products
- report Blood, Body Fluid Exposure (BBFE)
The information contained within this page is designed to assist nurses and midwives who care for patients receiving blood or blood product transfusions.
Allocated hours: 2 hour (1 hour = 1 CPD point)
