Child Safe Environments Awareness (CSE)
A mandatory competency
Target audience: All employees working in the who have regular contact with children and young people.
Frequency: 3 Yearly
Allocated hours: 2.45 hours = 3 CPD points (1 hour = 1 CPD point)
All three courses are mandated and must be completed every 3 years to meet training requirements.
While each course stands alone it is recommended that you complete them in the following order:
- Understanding and Responding to Major Risk Factors (1 hour / I CPD)
- Responding to Suspected Child Abuse or Neglect (1 hour / 1 CPD)
- Trauma Informed Care. (45 mins / 1 CPD) - please note this is not the MENTAL HEALTH version. Click HERE for MH version
