This 1 day workshop is a contemporary look at current practices for the management of patients with Parkinson’s Disease. The aim of the workshop is to increase your knowledge and clinical skills to provide specific and timely care, regardless of the reason for admission. Topics include what Parkinson’s Disease is, symptoms, pharmacological management, deep brain stimulation, avoiding common issues when the patient with Parkinson’s Disease is hospitalised and nursing management.
This workshop is available to nursing and midwifery staff across the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network and SA Health employees.
